Can I get a scholarship to the US with an IELTS 6.5 ?

If you need a scholarship to the United States, you must have an overall IELTS score of 7 with no less than 6 bands in each module. If you obtain a 6.5 overall band, you are eligible to apply to a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

There are, however, a number of scholarships that are based on your academic performance, publications delivered, and professional experience. Without an IELTS 7 band, this may not guarantee you a scholarship, but it is an excellent alternative to attempt.

Can I study in the US without IELTS?

You can study in the United States without taking IELTS. However, this is only feasible if you meet certain criteria, such as:

  2. English should be a required subject in high school.
